On the afternoon of February 22, 2023, College of Ocean Science and Engineering held a new semester faculty meeting in Cosco Lecture Hall. College party and government leaders and all faculty and staff attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Dean Feng Daolun first introduced the main work and achievements of the School in 2022 to all the faculty and staff, and elaborated the documents such as the Post Appointment Method of the School of Ocean Science and Engineering and the Performance Award Method of the School of Ocean Science and Engineering. According to the 14th Five-Year Plan content and development goals of the school, the work content of 2023 is assigned, calling on the faculty and staff of the school to gather their strength, overcome difficulties, and steadily promote the high quality development of the school.
Mr Liu Po-yang, Chairman of the Faculty Union, presided over the election of representatives to the first Faculty Congress and Trade Union of the Faculty of Ocean Science and Engineering. 41 new Faculty representatives were elected by secret ballot.
Zhang Xuehong, director of the office, reported the financial work of the college in 2022.
At last, Wang Weiyi, Secretary of the Party Committee, made a summary. On behalf of the leadership, he thanked all the staff for their efforts and achievements during the epidemic period. He hoped that all the staff could study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress, improve their political stance, base themselves on the positioning of the college, and actively devote themselves to the reform and development of the college. All majors and departments must concentrate on distinctive development, find weaknesses, seek breakthroughs, seize opportunities, and innovate. They must truly implement the awareness of revolution in the improvement of revolution capacity, see people in the spirit of seeing things, break all kinds of barriers, strengthen multi-party cooperation and group development, and create a better future.
