Sail the new semester, set sail on a new journey. In order to further do a good job in this semester's offline teaching work, to ensure that students with a good attitude and positive mental outlook to start the new semester life. On the evening of February 19th, the College of Ocean Science and Engineering, Grade 2021, held the first theme education of the new semester in Bangjian Lecture Hall. The theme was lectured by Ms. Sun Hanfen, instructor of Grade 21 of Haike.
At the meeting, Teacher Sun first emphasized the importance of learning specialized courses, and mobilized students to actively participate in various municipal and national competitions. Through participating in scientific research and professional competitions, students could improve their professional quality and practical ability. Some discipline competitions and the current situation of the competition are introduced in detail, and some guidance is provided on how to participate in the competition. In view of the current severe employment situation, Ms. Sun shared many job hunting platforms with the students, encouraging them to take part in professional internships during the holidays, so as to have more direct contact with the society and understand the needs of the society; I hope you can practice more, improve yourself in practice, create more opportunities for yourself, and give yourself a clear plan for the future. Finally, Ms. Sun urged everyone to pay attention to their mental health, communicate with teachers in time when they encounter problems, and maintain a good attitude and healthy lifestyle.
This theme education has laid a good foundation for the comprehensive development of the new semester work, and pointed out new goals and directions for students.
