Abstract: The accurate simulation of wave, current and sediment movement in coastal areas is of great significance for the prediction of coastal disaster prevention and mitigation and coastal evolution.

Due to the interaction among nearshore wave, current and sediment, only the coupled model can accurately describe the movement of wave, current and sediment.

Based on the introduction of a new concept of three-dimensional wave radiation stress, the paper establishes the coupling model of SWAN wave and FVCOM water and sediment, and applies it to simulate the migration of sandy coastal sand bar, silty coastal sediment movement and channel siltation, and the breaking of tidal channel sand bar.
