About the Speaker:


Zhang Yuliang, Ph.D., Senior engineer.

Over the years, he has been engaged in the development and application research of semiconductor nanomaterials, mainly focusing on the photochemical and photophysical properties of nanomaterials.

The APPLICATIONS OF SEMICONDUCTOR nanomATERIALS IN solar ABSORPTION AND transformation, ESPECIALLY photocatalytic WATER decomposition, photodegradation of organic pollutants (sewage treatment), photothermal conversion materials and seawater desalination, are discussed.

He has presided over 5 projects, including 1 project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (2011-2013), 1 project of Shanghai Natural Science Foundation (2019-2022), 1 project of Science and technology innovation of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission (completed), and 2 projects at the university level.

As the second responsible person, I participated in a number of projects including one National Key R&D Program project of the Ministry of Science and Technology (2017) and one Youth project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (the second participant).

Total number of published papers, among which more than 40 were retrieved by SCI and 3 were retrieved by EI.

12 national invention patents have been applied, 3 have been authorized and 1 has been transferred.


Zhang Fei, Ph.D., lecturer.

His research focuses on the physics and devices of photoelectric materials, the regulation of optical and electrical properties of thin films and composites, and the development of new energy materials and devices.
