"Go hand in hand and start from the heart" -- 2019 undergraduates of the College of ocean science and engineering carry out mental health education activities

In order to strengthen students' awareness of psychological safety protection and improve students' psychological adaptability. On November 30, under the leadership of the psychological Committee of each class, all 2019 students of the college of ocean science and engineering carried out a mental health education activity with the theme of walking hand in hand and starting from the heart.

The psychological committee member introduced in detail the occurrence and development process of psychological crisis, the identification of crisis signals and the process of crisis intervention, and focused on the crisis signal rating before the crisis, the relationship establishment during the crisis, the cognitive education after the crisis and the follow-up visit after the intervention. Through the sharing of crisis intervention examples, this paper analyzes the causes of College Students' psychological problems, and reminds students to pay attention to the patients with smile depression around them. In addition, the psychological committee introduced the location, opening time and WeChat official account platform of our school's psychological counseling center, telling everyone that we should detect it and face it when facing difficult psychological problems, and actively seek outside help.

After the meeting, the psychological Committee convened the dormitory leaders of each dormitory to further explain the behavior of patients with mental diseases such as depression, remind the dormitory leaders to pay more attention to the behavior and state of their roommates and dredge the emotions of their classmates in time. After this activity, the students said that they had a new understanding of the harm of psychological problems and solutions, and would pay timely attention to the emotional changes of themselves and the students around them.
