In order to cultivate students' correct understanding and understanding of marine culture under the national situation and enhance cultural confidence, the college of ocean science and engineering invited Mr. Qi Yong of the school of Arts and Sciences to teach the situation and policy education course with the theme of promoting the construction of marine culture and enhancing cultural self-confidence in classrooms 3d107 and 108 on November 24.
Mr. Qi Yong first pointed out that the construction and development of marine power is accelerating from the 18th National Congress to the 19th National Congress. From this, he cut into the theme of marine culture construction, and expounded the concept and characteristics, historical process and main characteristics of marine culture. The historical culture, artistic culture and commercial culture in the ocean are indispensable to the construction of a maritime power. The construction of a maritime power is the only way to build a socialist power and the main way and performance of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Mr. Qi stressed that to promote the construction of marine culture, we must strengthen cultural self-confidence and self-confidence in the practical achievements of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Through this theme education, the students have deeply realized the necessity of building a maritime power and the significance of a cultural power for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. A cultural power must strengthen its concept of the sea and enhance its cultural self-consciousness and self-confidence.
