He is mainly engaged in the research of carbon and nitrogen cycle and its ecological and environmental effects in estuarine and coastal wetlands, and has presided over more than 10 National Natural Science Foundation of China key research projects, such as Jieqing, Youqing and national key research and development programs.
He has published more than 120 papers in international authoritative journals such as Science Advances, Environmental Science & Technology and Water Research.
Dai Zhijun is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Science, East China Normal University.
His research expertise involves dynamic geomorphology of river basin, estuary and coast, erosion and silting of delta and tidal flat evolution.
He has presided over 7 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, and 3 national Natural Science Key projects and joint key projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology in the past three years.
She has published more than 160 papers and 6 monographs (including Changjiang Riverine and Estuarine Hydro-morphodynamic processes,
in the Context of Anthropocene Era,
He has published more than 70 papers as the first (corresponding) author in Geophysical Research Letters, Journal of Hydrology, Environmental Science & Technology and other international journals.
It has been cited for more than 2000 times in Science, Nature and other journals. There have been 4 ESI highly cited papers and 2 ESI hot papers.
He is an editorial board member or deputy editor of five SCI journals, including Geomorphology, Ocean & Coastal Management and Frontiers of Earth Science. He is also an expert of the National Natural Science Foundation for Outstanding Young Scholars, Key Science Foundation and Frontiers of Earth Science Foundation.
The research work has made a series of innovative achievements in coastal balance and stability, alluvial river water and sediment transport, estuarine deposition and geomorphic change pattern, etc. The research work has won 4 provincial and ministerial government awards, and the consultation or special report has been highly recognized by national or provincial leaders for many times.
In addition, IT HAS achieved remarkable results IN solving THE PROBLEMS OF sediment backsilting in the Yangtze ESTUARY deepwater CHANNEL, safety protection of the north coast of Hangzhou Bay seawall, erosion and silting evolution of 21 banks at home and abroad and harbor engineering sediment.
