He is the executive director of China Ocean Engineering Society and vice president of Port Engineering Branch of China Civil Engineering Society.
Long engaged in port and offshore engineering design and research, presided over the water transportation engineering consulting hundreds design projects, more than 30 scientific research projects, in port channel sedimentation reduction design of disaster prevention research, deep-water wharf structure of new development, port dust pollution control design research has yielded fruitful results, social economic and environmental benefit is remarkable.
He has presided over the compilation of 9 standards and specifications for the water transport industry, published 2 works, including Handbook of Harbor Engineering Design (second edition) and Theory of Silt Movement along silty Shores and Design of Port Channel, and published more than 30 academic papers.
It has won more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial awards, including:
