On the afternoon of November 4, the school of marine science and engineering invited Professor Jiang Guan, a national outstanding youth of Donghua University, and Professor Wang Lianjun, a young and middle-aged leading talent in scientific and technological innovation, to give a special guidance report on fund application. Professor Fan Runhua, vice president of the college, presided over the report meeting, which was attended by more than 20 teachers inside and outside the college.
Professor Jiang Guan introduced the changes of NSFC application in recent years, combined with his own experience in application, letter evaluation and joint evaluation of NSFC, and elaborated on the innovation, feasibility and work basis from how to obtain the attention of the judges. It is suggested that everyone should take a serious attitude, consolidate the foundation, think deeply, achieve the ultimate and come naturally.
Combining the successful and unsuccessful cases in his application process, Professor Wang Lianjun focuses on analyzing the differences from the perspective of fund writing, such as title, summary, project basis and research content, so as to improve the level of fund writing. At the same time, he also gave suggestions on the selection of subject codes and keywords.
Finally, Professor Jiang Guan and Professor Wang Lianjun answered the questions raised by the teachers in detail.
