About the Speaker:
Guan Xiaohong is a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund. She graduated from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a doctorate of Philosophy in 2005. 2005-2006 Visiting Scholar, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA. He has been a professor at the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University since 2011. He is mainly engaged in the research of environmental chemistry and water pollution control. Centering on the key scientific problem of rapid and targeted electron transfer between Fe(0) and Fe(V) -micropollutants, he has developed a series of new strategies to regulate the electron transfer process between iron and micropollutants, forming a characteristic research direction of water pollution control iron chemistry. Since 2015, he has published more than 50 Sci papers as the corresponding author, including 20 in envion.Sci. Technol., 1 in Envion.sci. Technol. Lett., 4 in Water Res. SCI citation more than 3000 times; 7 Chinese invention patents authorized as the first inventor; Awarded 1 Second Prize of Natural Science of Ministry of Education (2/4; 2019); He has been supported by National Outstanding Youth Fund (outstanding in conclusion), National Outstanding Youth Fund (Environmental chemistry field) and other projects. In 2018, he was invited to Gordon Academic Conference in the United States to deliver the conference invitation report. Currently serving as Water Res. and J. Hazard. Mater. Associate Editor of the journal, as envion.sci.tech. Let. The editorial board of such journals.
