After graduating from Beihang University with a master's degree in aeronautical Manufacturing engineering in April 2007, I joined Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute of ComAC in the same period. I have extensive engineering experience in civil aircraft power plant system, fuel inert system and fire protection system design integration and verification.


Abstract: The safety level of civil aircraft has been widely concerned by the public.

How is safety designed for a highly complex product such as a civil aircraft?

This lecture will begin with a review of typical safety incidents in the history of civil aviation and introduce safety design considerations for civil aircraft.

The content mainly includes the basic definition and connotation of civil aircraft safety, relevant airworthiness regulations and requirements, and the mainstream safety design methods and processes in the industry.
