Pick to:In recent years, the state has intensified the construction of infrastructure such as railway stations, docks, cruise ports and ports. Meanwhile, corresponding large-scale transport vehicles such as trains and ships have been put into operation.The combination of fire science and engineering practice behind it is an important way to solve the major technical problems of national transportation infrastructure and vehicle fire safety.Based on more than ten years of research and engineering experience in fire prevention design of cruise ship terminals, customs ports, rail vehicles and ships, this paper expounds the fire prevention design solutions for complex buildings to achieve the unification of safety and functionality.At the same time, from the point of view of system and overall safety, the advanced design method of performance-based fire prevention design for rail transit vehicles and ships is expounded.

Dr. Sun Xiaogan is currently vice Director of Arup Worldwide and director of Fire Risk and Resilience in China. His research and engineering interests include building fire prevention and life safety design and assessment, building fire safety management, regional fire risk assessment, urban disaster prevention and resilience assessment, etc.He is an American fire engineers association member, housing and urban-rural development of disaster prevention research center expert committee and high-rise residential environment of China architectural society academic committee member, committee member of the provinces and cities more fire experts library expert, has been published in international journals and conference for more than 20 article SCI high level academic papers,Fire Risk Assessment for Super high-rise Buildings laid the foundation and model for Fire Risk Assessment and Fire safety management of Super high-rise Buildings.

As a project leader presided over the wuhan to yuan temple area disaster prevention plan, Shanghai center building disaster prevention technology research and the 2010 Shanghai world expo China pavilion fire performance-based design, the urumqi international airport T3 terminal building fire performance-based design, pudong airport, chongqing satellite hall fire risk assessment raffles city fire consulting assessment,Participated in the disaster prevention research and fire risk assessment of more than 30 large domestic projects, such as the fire safety design of wusong International Cruise Port and Shenzhen Bay.As the main co-editor, I participated in the compilation of the book Urban Complex Fire Safety Technology and won two provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.
