On May 29, Celebrating the centenary of the founding of the Party, painting a 100-meter long scroll, the theme practice activity of public wall painting on the seawall was successfully completed in the new area near Hong Kong. Led by volunteers from the School of Marine Science and Engineering of Shanghai Maritime University, volunteers from China Maritime Museum, Pearl Lingang Primary School, Infrastructure Division of East China Branch of China Construction Second Engineering Bureau and visitors participated in drawing a 100-meter long scroll on the seawall of the new project area in Lingang to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
The wall painting is divided into three sections. One is to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the party. Volunteers from the College of Marine Science and Engineering of Shanghai Maritime University led the team of units in Lingang area to complete the wall painting activity. The second is the unrestrained and unrestrained experience area. In conjunction with the theme of World Oceans Day on June 8, promote Marine environmental protection. Volunteers from the College of Marine Science and Engineering of Shanghai Maritime University fill in the blue undersea world in advance to outline the frame of some animals and plants in the undersea world. Citizens who are interested in wall painting can receive paints and brushes on the spot with the help of volunteers from Haike to experience the joy of creation. The third is the childlike innocence to the party area. In combination with the painting collection organized by Xu Beihong Art College of Shanghai Maritime University to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in Lingang area, the volunteers of Xu Beihong Art College traced and painted part of the paintings collected and presented them on the seawall.

Volunteers draw the outline of a beautiful pattern through the hands of the brush, at the same time, through this novel way, attracted a large number of citizens and tourists to the East China Sea embankment tour, they also picked up the brush on the embankment to draw the best world in their mind. Every volunteer gives full play to their imagination to beautify the dyke. From a distance, all kinds of aquatic animals are active in the canvas of the ocean, free and flexible. All kinds of vivid propaganda pictures are colorful, full of vitality and magnificent.
Seawall the activities of public wall paint to dedication, love, mutual aid and progress the volunteer spirit and CARES about the sea, river, care of water resources, protect the mother river of the demand, combine clean beach and draw dike, embodies the characteristics of new area, show the style of maritime university students, practical and new district youth has played a leading role. Since the launch of this activity at the end of 2017, the total number of student volunteers from Shanghai Maritime University has reached more than 500, and the average service time of student volunteers is more than 40 hours per person. After the completion of this painting, the total length of the wall painting will exceed 500 meters.
