On the morning of May 10th, Zhu Ling, dean of School of Transportation, Wuhan University of Technology, Hu Huanan, vice dean of School of Transportation, and Chen Mingsheng, director of Department of Port and Navigation came to our hospital for communication. Chen Weijiong, Party Secretary of the College of Marine Science and Engineering, Shi Danda, Dean of the College, Zhang Baoji, Vice Dean of the College, and related professional teachers attended the exchange meeting, which was presided over by Shi Danda.
Secretary Chen Weijiong welcomed Dean Zhu Ling and his delegation. Secretary Chen expressed the hope that through this exchange, the academic exchanges between the two chambers will be enhanced and the foundation will be laid for the expansion of higher level and all-round exchanges and cooperation in the future.
President Shi Danda introduced the development history of the college, the construction of first-class disciplines and specialties, talent training, research direction, discipline characteristics, etc. Based on the existing foundation and conditions of various disciplines, the school aims to promote the development of the discipline group of Ship and Ocean Engineering in accordance with the national strategic needs of Maritime Power, Transportation Power and Shipping Power and the key development direction of the discipline in the 14th Five-Year Plan of our university. Shi expressed the hope that the two sides will conduct further exchanges in scientific research, discipline construction and alumni work in the future.
President Zhu expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. Dean Zhu introduced the personnel training, discipline evaluation, scientific research, enrollment and employment of the School of Transportation of Wuhan University of Technology. The two sides had detailed exchanges on the construction of first-class disciplines and specialties.
After the meeting, dean zhu ling and his delegation visited the campus of the university.
