On May 12th, College of Marine Science and Engineering held the 5th 4th Faculty and Staff Congress. All the faculty and staff attended the meeting, chaired by the president of the trade union Pan Yi.
The congress heard the Report on the Work of President in 2020 delivered by Comrade Chen Weijiong, the Report on the Work of Trade Union in 2020 and the Report on Financial Work in 2020 delivered by Comrade Pan Yi. At the meeting, Chen Weijiong summarized the work of the college during the 13th Five-Year Plan from the aspects of academic site construction, specialty construction, talent training, scientific research, teacher construction, etc. He said that the college should stand up in the 12th Five-Year Plan and get rich in the 13th Five-Year Plan. In the 14th Five-Year Plan, the college should focus on the target, fight with responsibility, and finally realize the leapfrog development.
This conference is of great significance to promoting the construction of democratic politics, improving the governance system of the college, and clarifying the future orientation and development of the college. All the faculty and staff of the college paid close attention to the meeting and actively participated in it. Everyone expressed that they should take the meeting as an opportunity to position themselves at a high standard, gather strength and forge ahead together.
