The College of Ocean Science and Engineering carried out safety and hygiene inspections in student dormitories

In order to implement the requirements of the Notice on the Safety Work of the School during the May Day, further strengthen the safety management of the student dormitory, eliminate safety hazards, and ensure the safety of the student community and the harmony and stability of the campus, all the full-time and part-time counselors of our college carried out safety and health inspection in the student dormitory on April 29th.

Counselors went into each dormitory, focusing on the inspection of the dormitory, balcony and sunshine room, keep clean and tidy, do not pile up garbage, sundries, flammable goods; Do not use open fires or smoke in dormitories. Do not use and store illegal electrical appliances, do not pull wires in the dormitory (including connecting multiple wiring boards), do not use electrical appliances on the bed, and do not put flammable items near power sockets; When people leave, cut off all power supplies; Dormitories with poor sanitary conditions and potential safety risks will be rectified.

Safety work is no small matter, student community safety is the top priority of school safety and stability work. Maintaining the safety of the community is the common responsibility of all the teachers, students and staff of the school. We should strictly implement the school's rules and regulations on dormitory safety and create a good living environment. At the same time, our college counselors in the inspection of the dormitory at the same time, but also further to the students of the May Day safety education.
