Topic: Effects of atmospheric nitrogen deposition on rice paddy ecosystem in China

Speaker: Professor Zhang Xiuying

Lecture time: 14:00-15:30, April 28, 2021

Lecture place: conference room 109, institute of Ocean science

Pick to:

This paper mainly introduces how to construct an estimation model of atmospheric nitrogen deposition by coupling satellite monitoring information with atmospheric chemical transmission model. Based on controlled experiments and ecological process models, the negative effects of nitrogen deposition on rice yield, soil, atmosphere and water in China were quantitatively simulated.

Brief introduction of the speaker:

Zhang Xiuying, female, Ph.D., professor, International Institute of Earth System Science, Nanjing University, member of Ozone Pollution Control Committee, Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, member of Resource Education Committee, Chinese Society of Natural Resources. In recent years, systematic researches have been carried out in the fields of near-surface atmospheric pollution estimation, atmospheric nitrogen deposition estimation and ecological effect assessment, spatial and temporal distribution of heavy metals in soil-food system and their risk assessment.
