A. Application for National Scholarship for Doctoral Postgraduates
1. On October 16, 16 o 'clock, a doctoral candidate submitted to college ① the attachment 4: graduate student and national scholarship application form (page if printed, only 1), ② supporting material, ③ the national scholarship in annex 5: university graduate, letter of recommendation form 2 seal, ④ the annex 1: doctoral research list (wipo) award).
(1) Time range of supporting material: October 2019 to September 2020;
(2) At the same time as submitting the materials, submit the list of achievements, the copy of achievements and the certificate of achievement grade issued by the novelty search station of the university library;
(3) All application materials should be packaged and sent to byli@shmtu.edu.cn with Major + Student Number + Name + Application for National Doctoral Scholarship marked in the subject line;
(4) Graduate students applying for national scholarship must be recommended by relevant peer experts. Requirements: PhD students must submit two letters of recommendation from peer experts, one of which is written by experts from overseas universities and the other one is written by experts from our university or outside.
2. The National Scholarship for Doctoral Students will focus on the assessment of scientific research ability, mainly including high-level academic journal papers and invention patents. When submitting the materials, we should submit the list of achievements and the copy of achievements and the certificate of achievement grade issued by the novelty checking station of the university library.
3. B. Application for academic scholarship for doctoral students
1. Before 16:00 on October 16th, doctoral students shall submit ① Annex 3: Application Form for Doctoral Academic Scholarship, ② supporting materials and ③ Annex 2: List of Research Achievements of Doctoral Graduate Students (Application for Academic Scholarship) to the School.
(1) Time range of supporting material: October 2019 to September 2020;
(2) At the same time as submitting the materials, submit the list of achievements, the copy of achievements and the certificate of achievement grade issued by the novelty search station of the university library;
(3) All application materials should be packaged and sent to byli@shmtu.edu.cn with Major + Student Number + Name + Application for Doctoral Academic Scholarship in the subject of the email.
2. Before October 20, the School shall make a unified review and form a recommended list of academic scholarships for doctoral students for the academic year 2020-2021; Send the paper materials (application form, list of achievements, proof of achievement grade issued by the library's new search station, etc.) to the general office of graduate students in the research building 530, and send the electronic version (application form, list of achievements, etc.) to gs_office@shmtu.edu.cn. After the deadline, the application will not be accepted.
3. Before October 28, the Graduate School will organize experts to evaluate the academic scholarships for doctoral students;
4. Before November 5th, the leading group of graduate student scholarship evaluation will re-evaluate the list, and the re-evaluation results will be published to the whole university for five working days. The list of winning doctoral students will be determined after the announcement is made without objection.
5. The university will publish the list of doctoral students who have won the awards, and record the scholarship into the student records;
6. Within one month after the announcement of the award list, the Finance Department will transfer the corresponding scholarship to the doctoral student's personal bank account.
