On November 13, 2019, the college of Marine science and engineering organized faculty members and student party members to visit zhang wentian's former residence in zhangjiazhai, dengsan village, zhuqiao town, pudong new area.
Zhang wentian was an outstanding proletarian revolutionist and theorist, a loyal marxist and an important leader of the early Chinese communist party. He joined the communist party of China in 1925, entered the central revolutionary base in 1933, took part in the long march and attended the zunyi conference in October 1934, and was mistakenly identified as a member of the anti-party group in 1959. He died of undeserved illness on July 1, 1976. In August 1979, the central committee of the communist party of China exonerated him. In the exhibition hall of zhang wentian's life, there are all kinds of historical materials, such as photos, materials and objects, which reflect the glorious life of comrade zhang wentian in his pursuit of the truth of saving the country and people and his great contributions to the party in various historical periods.
Through the understanding of zhang wentian's deeds, party members feel the power of faith, feel the glory and greatness of the revolutionary spirit. Reviewing the battle course of the revolutionary predecessors, the party members were greatly encouraged, and firmly expressed that they would earnestly study and carry forward the spirit of arduous struggle of the older generation of revolutionaries, never forget the original intention, keep in mind the mission, and deliver a satisfactory result in work and life.
