At the invitation of the science and technology department of our university and the school of ocean science and engineering, professor Feng Shijin, winner of the national outstanding youth fund and young Changjiang scholar from the department of underground architecture and engineering of Tongji university, came to our school on the afternoon of December 25, 2017 to give a lecture on the application for the 2018 national natural science fund. The lecture was held in the 109 lecture hall of the school of ocean science and engineering. More than 90 teachers of the school listened to the lecture. Professor Chen Weijiong, executive vice President and secretary of the party committee of the school of ocean science and engineering warmly welcomed professor Feng Shijin's visit. Professor Feng Shijin combined many years of experience in applying, undertaking and evaluating national funds, from "why apply for national funds?", "how to apply for a national fund?", "how to write a national fund application? Apply for state funds, "notes" four aspects of the declaration of national natural science foundation has carried on the comprehensive interpretation, and from the selected topic, this paper, the theoretical basis, research content and research objectives, research plan and feasibility analysis, sensors and actuators, and working conditions for fund application form the basis of the main points in writing a detailed analysis. The content of the lecture aroused strong resonance and unanimous praise from the teachers attending the meeting. After the meeting, professor Feng Shijin also had a discussion with the young teachers of the school of ocean science and engineering.
